Big 12 Commissioner's Fall Academic Honor Roll (2008)
2010 Outlook
Tight end Mychael McClure has made great strides in the weight room his first two years in the Nebraska program, and this fall he will push for playing time at one of the Huskers' deepest positions. Since his arrival in the program, McClure has added more than 35 pounds of muscle to his 6-5 frame. A walk-on from Wisner, Neb., McClure has good receiving skills and the size and strength to provide a perimeter blocking presence.
2009 (Redshirt Freshman)
McClure saw action against Louisiana-Lafayette and Arizona, but he did not have a catch.
2008 (Redshirt)
McClure sat out his first season and was impressive in his scout team work.
Before Nebraska (Wisner-Pilger HS)
McClure played both wide receiver and linebacker at Wisner-Pilger High School, and earned Class C-1 first-team all-state honors from both the Omaha World-Herald and Lincoln Journal Star.
He also starred in basketball, earning Class C-1 all-state honors, while leading his team to the state tournament. McClure finished his senior season at the state track and field meet with a seventh-place finish in the long jump and eighth-place finish in the triple jump.
