  • Defensive co-captain as a senior in 1983

1983 (Senior)
Keeler came back from major surgery in 1982 to win a starting job with the Blackshirts in 1983.  Keeler's highlight play of his career came against Missouri, with the Huskers leading just 20-13 and Missouri knocking on the door at the NU one-yard-line.  Keeler pounced on a fumble to kill the Tiger threat and set up the Husker's game-clinching 99-yard drive. 

1982 (Junior)
Keeler underwent surgery as a junior after figuring to be the alternate behind senior Toby Williams at defensive tackle. 

1981 (Sophomore)
As a sophomore, Keeler lettered for the Huskers racking up 10 total tackles, with 1 sack for the Blackshirt defense. 

1980 (Redshirt)
Keeler redshirted the 1980 season after playing for the Huskers' freshman team in 1979. 

1979 (Freshman)
Keeler played for the freshman team, starting at left tackle in 1979. 

At Omaha Burke HS
As a senior at Omaha Burke, Keeler earned all-state and all-metro for football.
