Brown is a junior college transfer from Garden City (Kan.) Community College, who hopes to work his way to playing time at the strong safety position.  The walk-on previously played at Topeka High School, recording 6 interceptions, seven forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, four sacks and more than 40 tackles.  On the offensive side of the ball, Brown rushed for 831 yards and totaled more than 400 return yards on special teams, including one touchdown. 

He was on the honor roll consecutive times in the classroom, and was named all-conference honorable mention on the field, as his team was the 2002 district runner-up.  On the junior college level, Brown had three sacks, three forced fumbles and one interception during his career. His best game came against Air Force Prep when he tallied 10 tackles, one forced fumble and one sack.<?xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"?>

 

Personal
Mycheal was born on July 4, 1985 in Topeka, Kan.  He is the son of Ray Sr. and Christine, and has one sister, Christy Thurman and two brothers, Ray Jr. and Billy.  Brown is majoring in criminal justice at Nebraska.
