Outdoor: Redshirted...competed once unattached, logging a 4:03.81 in the 1,500 meters at the Nebraska Quad...named to the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the spring semester.

Before Nebraska (Millard West)
Joined the Huskers from Millard West High School in Omaha, Neb...won the 3,200 meters at the 2013 Nebraska Class A State Championships with a time of 9:14.87...finished third in the 1,600 meters with a time of 4:14.81 at the 2013 state meet...finished third in the 3,200 meters at the 2012 Nebraska Class A State Track and Field Championships, recording a time of 9:42.66...also finished third in the 1,600 meters with a  time of 4:20.64 at the 2012 state meet...won the 2012 Nebraska Class A State Cross Country Championships and was named the Gatorade Nebraska Boys Cross Country Runner of the Year...was a 2012 first-team all-state selection...finished ninth at the Nike Cross Nationals Midwest Regional Championships... notched best times of 2:01.20 in the 800 meters, 4:14.81 in the 1,600 meters, 9:01.83 in the 3,000 meters and 9:05.00 in the 3,200 meters...was the Millard West record holder in the 1,600 meters, 3,200 meters and the 4x1,600 meter relay...was a USATF Junior Nationals qualifier.
