2010 (Junior)
Lara Crofford redshirted the entire 2010 season.

2009 (Sophomore)
Following a stellar freshman season, Crofford opened her sophomore campaign with a victory in the 3,000 meters at the adidas Classic... broke her previous best of 4:55.84 in the mile one week later at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational with a time of 4:54.03... earned two All-Big 12 honors and set two personal bests at the Big 12 Indoor Championships, finishing sixth in the 3,000 meters (16:41.31) and second in the 5,000 meters (16:28.84)... started the outdoor season by provisionally qualifying in the 10,000 meters for the NCAA Outdoor Championships with a time of 34:07.55 at the Stanford Invitational... broke her previous best of 4:43.99 in the 1,500 meters two weeks later at the Nebraska Invitational, running 4:33.53... improved her NCAA standing in the 10K at the Payton Jordan Invitational with a time of 34:07.20... earned All-Big 12 honors in both the 5K and 10K for the second straight year at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships with sixth- and fifth-place finishes, respectively... competed at the NCAA Outdoor Championships for the second straight year in the 10K... ran a time of 34:48.31 to finish 13th.

2008 (Freshman)
Crofford got her Husker career off to a fast start during the 2007 cross country season, earning All-Big 12 and All-Midwest Region honors, while capturing a spot at the NCAA Championships... carried success to the track and field season with four medals at the Big 12 Championships... finished first at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational with a time of 16:43.43... finished eighth in the 3,000 meters (9:43.19) and third in the 5,000 meters (16:45.23) at the Big 12 Indoor Championships... opened the outdoor season at the Stanford Invitational with the No. 2 all-time 10,000-meter time in NU history at 33:56.46... finished third at the Mt. SAC Relays in the 5,000 meters with a time of 16:27.73... finished third in the 5,000 meters (17:20.08) and second in the 10,000 meters (36:16.18) at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships... was Nebraska's highest scorer at the meet with 14 points... qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the 5,000 with a fourth-place finish at the NCAA Midwest Regional (17:01.28) and provisionally qualified in the 10,000 meters with her time at the Stanford Invitational... only ran the 10,000 meters at the national meet.

Before Nebraska (Big Spring HS)
Crofford ended her high school running career by winning the 2007 Pennsylvania Class AAA 3,200-meter title (10:30.49) under Coach Robert Jumper... captured runner-up honors at the 2007 Nike Outdoor Nationals in the 5,000-meter run (16:43.46) and finished sixth in the 2-mile (10:28.67) to earn high school All-America status... the 5,000-meter time was the third-fastest time by an American prep in 2007... took back-to-back runner-up finishes at the 2005 and 2006 Pennsylvania Class AAA state cross country meets... finished 14th at the 2006 Northeast Footlocker Cross Country Championships... member of the National Honor Society... chose Nebraska over Syracuse, Penn State, Richmond and Villanova.
