Blake Peterson Season 2019

2019: Blake Peterson played in four games, including two starts, as a freshman • Went 2-for-9 with two runs scored and a double • During the season-opening UC Riverside series, he went 2-for-4.

Before Nebraska: Peterson played high school baseball at Granite Bay in Loomis, Calif., under Coach Pat Esposito • Helped the team to a sectional championship in 2018 • Earned first-team SFL accolades in 2018 • As a senior, he batted .330 with five triples, 17 RBIs and 19 stolen bases as the leadoff hitter • Also played football, leading the team in receiving and rushing yards en route to first-team all-metro honors.
