2016: Steven Reveles (pronounced Rah-vell-es) got a second short at his senior season in 2016 after playing in just 16 games due to a broken finger in 2015  and was granted a medical hardship • Was named second-team All-Big Ten at shortstop • Posted multiple career highs, including batting average (.271), home runs (4), RBIs (26) and stolen bases (11), while matching his career high in doubles with 11 • Also added 30 runs • Played and started in 58 of NU's 59 games • Excelled during Big Ten play, ranking second on the team with a .329 average (28-for-85), scored 16 runs, notched six doubles and recorded 11 RBIs • Second career home run was a walk-off home run on March 11 to win the opening game of a four-game series with Loyola Marymount that the Huskers went on to sweep • Hit a grand slam on the road at Indiana State on March 22 • Posted a 10-game hitting streak during the year • Ended his career hitting .265 (120-for-452) in 125 starts over 128 games played • Recorded 73 runs, 26 doubles, four home runs and 47 RBIs • Was not drafted, but signed with the Boston Red Sox.
2015: Reveles played just 16 games for the Huskers in 2015 before breaking a finger against Michigan on March 20 • Hit .255 on the year with four doubles and three RBIs, while also stealing four bases in four attempts • Was fielding at a .986 clip from his shortstop position, with just one error in 71 chances • Had three multi-hit games on the year, including a 2-for-4 performance in the season opener at UNLV • Two of his four doubles on the year came in a series win at Loyola Marymount • Went 2-for-2 with two runs scored and an RBI in his final game of the season against the Wolverines.
2014: Reveles played in 54 games for the Huskers in 2014, including 51 starts at shortstop • Hit .262 on the year with 33 runs scored and ranked third on the team with 11 doubles • Went 5-for-10 in three games at the NCAA Tournament with two runs and two RBIs • Delivered the go-ahead run in the top of the ninth against Binghamton on May 31 in an elimination game in the Stillwater Regional with a sacrifice bunt that put the Huskers ahead 7-6, Nebraska won the game 8-6 • Notched his 11th double of the year and scored a run in a 3-2 victory over Michigan State on May 22 at the Big Ten Tournament • Drove in the eventual game-winning run at Michigan on April 26 with a sacrifice fly in the eighth that scored Pat Kelly to put NU up 2-1, as the Huskers went on to win 3-1 • Was a perfect 2-for-2 in a 6-4 win at Michigan on April 25, also walked and laid down a pair of sacrifice bunts • Walked twice in a game for the first time on April 19 in a loss to Northwestern • Drove in the eventual game-winning run with a two-out single in the top of the 10th at Minnesota on April 14 to help the Huskers sweep the Gophers • Scored three of Nebraska’s runs in a 10-6 loss to Kansas State on April 9 • Was 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored in a 7-3 win at Wichita State on March 25 • Notched a pair of RBIs for the first time in his career against No. 25 UC Irvine on March 14 with a two-out single • Notched a double in his first at-bat in eight games on March 12 against Northern Colorado, going 1-for-2 with a walk • Came in as a defensive replacement on March 11 against Northern Colorado, getting his first game action after missing seven games with a hamstring injury • Was 2-for-2 with two runs scored and a stolen base in a 13-3 win over Washington, but left the game in the third with a hamstring injury after roping his fourth double of the year • Went 2-for-5 with a pair of doubles and an RBI in a 9-2 win over No. 1 Oregon State on Feb. 21 • Was 2-for-5 with a double, a pair of runs scored and an RBI against No. 2 Oregon State on Feb. 15 • Made his Husker debut in the season opener against Pacific on Feb. 14, going 1-for-4 with a run scored.
Before Nebraska: Reveles transferred to Nebraska after playing two seasons at Santa Barbara City College, where he was named an All-American in 2013 • Named the Western State Conference North Player of the Year after hitting .305 and leading the league in stolen bases with 30 • Struck out just 11 times in 154 at bats • Led all players during league play with a .372 average • Led the team to the Southern Cal Regional playoffs for the third-straight year • First time that has happened in school history • Led the team with a .340 batting average as a freshman, while producing 51 hits, 27 runs and 13 stolen bases • Helped the Vaqueros win their second-straight WSC North title in 2012 • Played prep ball for Dos Pueblos High School under Coach Nate Mendoza • Was a four-time letterwinner and a two-time first-team All-Channel League selection • Played for the Santa Barbara Foresters this past summer • Ranked second on the team in stolen bases with 17.
