2015: Chance Sinclair earned All-Big Ten honors for the second straight year in 2015, was a second-team pick after earning first-team honors in 2014 • Posted a 3.04 ERA on the year, but finished with a 6-7 record in 15 starts over 91.2 innings • Struck out 68 compared to 21 walks • Performed even better during league play with a 2.45 ERA, but received little run support and finished 3-4 in eight conference starts • Received 5.8 runs per game in 2014, but just 3.8 runs per game in 2015 • Tossed an 8.0-inning complete game and retired 17 straight at one point against Texas A&M at the Houston College Classic, but lost the game, 2-1 • Went at least 5.0 inning in all but one of his 15 starts and went 6.0 or more innings seven times.

2014: A third-team All-American in 2014, Sinclair was the first Husker pitcher to earn All-America honors since Johnny Dorn in 2008 • Finished the year 9-1 with a 2.15 ERA in 16 starts • Worked 100.2 innings, the first Husker to top 100.0 innings since Dorn threw 106.1 innings in 2008 • Was a perfect 6-0 during Big Ten play with a 2.10 ERA in eight starts, including a complete game win over Ohio State • Started NU’s first NCAA Tournament game since 2008 and took a no-hitter into the seventh inning against Cal State Fullerton • Huskers lost the game, 5-1, and he didn’t factor into the decision, giving up one unearned run on two hits • Retired the first 14 CSF batters he faced before he issued a two-out walk in the fifth • Retired the Titans in order five times • Lasted just 3.1 innings in Big Ten Tournament opener against Ohio State, but Huskers rallied for a 7-6 win • Gave up five runs on five hits to the Buckeyes, including all five runs in the fourth inning • Limited Illinois to three hits and one walk over 7.0 innings to improve to 9-1 on the year, while striking out a career-high 10 • 10 strikeouts were the most by a Husker since Tyler Niederklein struck out 10 against Northern Colorado on March 22, 2011, and were the most in a conference game by a Husker since Thad Weber sat down 11 against Kansas on March 18, 2008 • Retired the Illini in order five times on the night, and after giving up an one-out RBI single to Reid Roper in the fourth inning, the 6-4 righty retired the final 11 batters he faced • Combined with Zach Hirsch to retire the final 17 batters of the game • Improved to 8-1 in a series-opening win at Michigan State on May 10 • Gave up three runs (two earned) on six hits and no walks over 7.0 innings • Faced just three MSU batters in five of his seven innings of work • First Husker to win eight games since Tyler Niederklein in 2011 • Picked up his seventh win of the year and improved to 4-0 during Big Ten play in a 13-3 victory in the series opener against Penn State on May 2 • Went 6.1 innings, allowing three runs on five hits, including his first homer allowed on the year • Improved to 6-1 overall and 3-0 in Big Ten play on the year in a 3-1 win at Michigan on April 26 • Went 7.1 innings against the Wolverines, allowing one unearned run on six hits and two walks, while striking out four • Tied a career high with five strikeouts and went 7.0 innings against Northwestern on April 19, but didn’t factor into the decision after leaving the game tied 2-2 • Huskers lost the game 3-2 after the bullpen gave up a run in the eighth • Went 5.0 innings in a no decision at Minnesota on April 11 • Gave up just one hit in the first 4.0 innings, but was then touched for four runs on four hits in the fifth • Were first earned runs given up in Big Ten play, after throwing 20.0 innings without an earned run • Pitched his first career complete game in a 4-3 win over Ohio State on April 5 • Allowed seven hits and no walks with four strikeouts, while all three runs were unearned • Was the second straight complete game by the NU pitching staff after Christian DeLeon notched one against the Buckeyes the night before • Dropped his first game of the season in a 5-4 loss to UNLV • Gave up five runs (four earned) on nine hits and no walks over 7.0 innings against the Rebels, while tying a then-career high with five strikeouts • Improved to 4-0 on the year with his first Big Ten win at Iowa on March 22 • Went 7.0 innings against the Hawkeyes, allowing one unearned run on nine hits and a pair of walks • Helped complete a doubleheader sweep of No. 25 UC Irvine on March 15 • Gave NU 6.2 innings, allowing three runs, only one earned, on eight hits in a 7-4 Husker win • Improved to 3-0 on the year with a win over St. John’s on March 9, clinching a sweep of the Red Storm • Went 6.0 innings and gave up his first earned run of the year on four hits • Was part of a 4-0 shutout of The Citadel on March 2 • Cruised through 7.0 innings, giving up just four hits and no walks, while striking out five • Struggled in his second career start, lasting 1.2 innings against Utah on Feb. 23, but only gave up one unearned run • Was unable to find the plate, walking four compared to one strikeout against the Utes • Started his Husker career on the right foot with a win over Gonzaga on Feb. 15 at the Husker Classic in Tempe, Ariz. • Went 7.0 innings for the Huskers, allowing two runs (both unearned) on three hits and a pair of walks • Was the only Husker starting pitcher during the opening weekend to throw more than five innings.

Before Nebraska: Sinclair transferred to Nebraska after spending two seasons at Neosho County Community College, where he was the Panthers’ 2012-13 Male Student-Athlete of the Year • Set or tied multiple school records during his two years at Neosho County • Recorded a 10-2 record during the 2013 season with a 1.56 ERA • 10 wins tied him for the school’s single-season record • Combined with his eight wins as a freshman in 2012, he also tied the school’s career record for wins with 18 • Holds the school record for career ERA at 1.49 • Ranks third all-time on the single-season charts with 93.2 innings pitched in 2013 • Threw a complete game four-hitter in the opening game of the 2013 JUCO World Series in Grand Junction, Colo. • Allowed one run and struck out five in the 2-1 victory over Cochise College from Douglas, Ariz. • Was a two-time KJCCC All-Conference team selection • Product of Osawatomie High School • Was named Class 4A Pitcher of the Year by the Kansas Baseball Coaches Association as a senior in 2011 • Was dominant for the Trojans, posting a 6-0 record and 68 strikeouts to eight walks in 31.0 innings • Allowed just one run on five hits all season.
