2005: Timm was a valuable part of the Husker bullpen before going down with an injury prior to postseason play • Earned honorable-mention All-Big 12 accolades, going 4-1 with a save and a 2.13 ERA in 19 contests, all in relief • Allowed just seven of 27 inherited runners to score to help the Huskers set a school record with 23 saves • Was sidelined by an injurry and did not pitch during the Big 12 or NCAA Tournament • Went 3-0 with a 1.53 ERA in nine Big 12 contests, picking up victories against No. 1 Texas, No. 17 Missouri and Oklahoma State • Tossed four innings of shutout relief against Missouri, fanning two as NU rallied for a 7-5 victory on May 7 • Retired all eight batters he faced in tossing 2.2 innings of shutout ball at Texas A&M on April 16 • Suffered the loss against Creighton, allowing two runs on three hits over 3.0 innings of work in a 4-3 setback to the Bluejays on April 5 • Fired three innings of relief, matching his career high with four strikeouts in NU's 4-3, 16-inning win over No. 1 Texas on April 8 • Tied his career best with four strikeouts in throwing 3.1 innings of shutout relief against Oklahoma State on April 1 • Needed only one pitch to record his save, entering the game with a 4-3 lead and runners on first and second before getting a line out against No. 7 Rice on March 4 • Came out of the bullpen to throw 4.1 innings of one-hit ball against No. 7 Rice at Reckling Park in a 6-3 come-from-behind victory on Feb. 27 • Earned the victory in NU's season opener, throwing a season-high 5.1 innings of one run ball at Hawaii-Hilo on Feb. 17.

2004: Timm returned to the mound 11 months after Tommy John surgery and was a major part of the Huskers’ pitching success in 2004 • Ranked third on the team with 20 appearances, going 2-3 with a 3.89 ERA in 44 innings, splitting time as both a starter and in the bullpen • Selected by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 26th round of the 2004 MLB Draft • Showed excellent control with a better than 2-to-1 strikeout-to-walk ratio, fanning 24 and walking only 11 hitters, as he did not allow more than two walks in any appearance • Shined in bullpen duty, picking up a save (vs. Northwestern State on Feb. 27) and ranking among the team leaders with three holds • Allowed only five of 18 inherited runners to score • Went 1-3 with a 4.71 ERA in nine Big 12 appearances, making five starts (Missouri, Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, Baylor and Oklahoma) • Began the year as a reliever as he built arm strength • Threw a then career-high 2.2 innings against Northwestern in the season opener on Feb. 20, allowing one run on three hits • Picked up his first collegiate save against Northwestern State, throwing two innings of no-hit ball against the Demons • Went five straight appearances (March 17-31) without allowing a run, spanning 5.1 innings before allowing a run in the series finale at Kansas State on April 4 • Earned the win against the Wildcats, fanning a pair and allowing two hits in two innings of work • Matched his personal high with four strikeouts, but allowed two runs over four innings of relief in a loss to Texas Tech on April 10 • Allowed one hit in two shutout innings in a win over No. 10 Wichita State on April 13 • Made his first Big 12 start in the series finale at Missouri on April 13, going a career-long 5.2 innings and allowing three runs on seven hits before leaving with an 8-3 lead, but did not factor in the decision • Picked up his second win of the season in relief against Northern Colorado on April 27, fanning two in two shutout innings of relief, as he got out of a bases-loaded jam in the eighth and a two-on, two-out situation in the ninth • Pitched well at No. 21 Oklahoma State, matching his career high with four strikeouts and allowing one run in 4.2 innings, but did not pick up the win • Took the loss in the regular-season finale against No. 18 Oklahoma, allowing one earned run over four innings in a 2-1 setback • Made one appearance in the Big 12 Tournament, allowing two runs in a 6-5 loss to No. 1 Texas on May 28.

2003: Timm made a pair of appearances before undergoing Tommy John surgery on his right elbow in early March • Was dominant before the injury, allowing one hit and striking out seven in 3.1 shutout innings • Tossed two scoreless innings and fanned a season-high four batters against UT-Pan American on Feb. 15 • Fanned three in 1.1 innings of one-hit ball at Louisiana Tech on Feb. 22 in his final outing of the year.

2002: Timm took a medical redshirt after suffering an elbow injury midway through the season • Went 1-1 with a 5.40 ERA in six outings, fanning six in 6.2 innings • Struggled in his first start, allowing four runs on two hits in a loss to No. 15 Wake Forest on Feb. 17 • Rebounded in his second start, striking out a season-high three batters in two innings against Nebraska-Kearney to pick up the win in the first-ever collegiate game at Hawks Field • Tossed a shutout inning of relief against UW-Milwaukee on April 3 in his final appearance of the year.

2001: Timm was one of three true freshmen to pitch for Nebraska’s first-ever CWS squad • Made three appearances for the Big 12 champions, recording an 8.31 ERA without a decision in 4.1 innings • Allowed three runs in his collegiate debut against No. 1 Georgia Tech on Feb. 11 • Tossed a scoreless inning of relief against UT-San Antonio on April 17 and allowed one unearned run in an inning of work against Northern Iowa on May 8 • Made his biggest contribution in the NCAA Regional against Rutgers, coming out of the bullpen in the title game to toss a season-high 1.1 innings and struck out a pair in NU’s 14-10 win • Was the only true freshman pitcher on NU’s 25-man CWS roster.

Yutan High School: Timm played basketball and ran track during the year before playing American Legion baseball for Coach Greg Woster • Drafted by the Kansas City Royals in the 41st round of the 2000 MLB First-Year Player Draft • Led his American Legion Team to third-place state finishes in 1999 and 2000 • Compiled an 8-4 mark with a 1.50 ERA as a senior, averaging 12 strikeouts per game • Went 10-2 with a 1.79 ERA as a junior, fanning 156 in 75 innings • Was a two-time all-conference pick on the hardwood at Yutan HS, earning first-team accolades as a senior • Chose NU over Nebraska-Omaha, Nebraska-Kearney and Cal State-Northridge.

Personal: Born on Oct. 7, 1981, in Blair, Neb. • Parents are Mike and Janet Timm • Has two brothers (Bucky and Cory) • Majors in communication studies • Comes from an athletic family, as his older brother Bucky pitched at Midland Lutheran College, while younger brother Cory was a reserve offensive lineman at NU (2002-04)
