2022: Mason made three appearances on the mound for the Huskers. • Totaled 1.1 innings, surrendering a pair of hits and four walks.  • Pitched a season-high one inning against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. • Recorded an out at Sam Houston and made an appearance against New Mexico State.

2021: Mason made two appearances out of the bullpen, covering 0.1 innings. • Made his season debut on March 27 against Minnesota. • Recorded the final out of the sixth inning against Ohio State on May 22.

2020: Quinn Mason made three appearances on the mound, including one start, before the season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic • Went 1-0 with a 1.50 ERA in 6.0 innings • Recorded eight strikeouts, while allowing only one walk • Made his Husker debut on Feb. 28 at Arizona State, coming out of the bullpen for 1.0 inning • Tallied a season-high four strikeouts in 2.0 innings of relief against Columbia on March 8 • Earned the win in his first career start, throwing 3.0 scoreless innings against Northern Colorado on March 11.

Before Nebraska: Mason joined the Huskers from Gretna High School in Gretna, Neb., where he played under Coach Jake Wolf • As a senior, he batted .333 with 16 RBIs, while going 2-2 on the mound with 49 strikeouts and a 2.76 ERA en route to first-team all-state recognition • Helped the team capture the district title by throwing 6.0 shutout innings and recording nine strikeouts • On two occasions, he earned All-Eastern Midland Conference honors • The team qualified for the state tournament in 2017 and 2019 • Played Legion baseball for Gretna Post 216 under Coach Bryan O’Flynn, where he hit .398 with 13 home runs, three triples, seven doubles, 45 RBIs and 11 stolen bases in 2019 • In 2018, he batted .300 at the plate and went 9-2 with a 1.06 ERA and 71 strikeouts on the mound • The team won the Senior Legion National Division State title in 2019 • An academic all-state selection, he was also Gretna’s quarterback on the gridiron, where he started as a junior and senior and helped the team to the semifinals of the state playoffs in 2017.
