2022: Anderson started all 53 games for Nebraska. • Led the team with 12 doubles and 10 home runs. • Recorded three triples. • Had a team-high 45 RBI and 47 runs on the season. • Hit .299 with a .513 slugging percentage and .387 on-base percentage. • Tallied 18 multi-hit games, including a pair of four-hit games. • Went 4-for-5 with a triple, two RBI and two runs scored at UT Arlington. • Had a 4-for-5 day at the plate with two home runs, a double and four RBI in season finale vs. Michigan State. • Posted seven three-hit games and had four games with a season-high four RBI.

2021: Anderson was named Big Ten Freshman of the Year and Second-Team All-Big Ten in first season at Nebraska. • Received Freshman All-American recognition by Collegiate Baseball and Second-Team Freshman All-American by D1Baseball and Perfect Game. • Started 45 games in his freshman campaign. • Finished second on the team in batting average (.332) and hits (61). • Added eight doubles, a triple, seven home runs and 32 RBI. • Posted a .386 on-base percentage and .500 slugging percentage. • Produced 19 multi-hit games and seven multi-RBI games. • Had a team-best nine three-hit games and tied for the team lead with a pair of four-hit performances. • Went 2-for-5 with a home run and season-high five RBI in win at Iowa. • Tallied three hits and four RBI at Michigan State. • Posted a pair of 4-for-5 performance at the plate against Illinois and Northwestern.

Before Nebraska: An Omaha, Neb., native, Max Anderson played high school baseball at Millard West under Coach Steve Frey • Tabbed the 2019-20 Gatorade Player of the Year in Nebraska after batting .353 with 10 home runs, 28 RBIs and 29 runs scored in 2019 • Named captain of the Lincoln Journal Star Super-State Team and also earned a spot on the Omaha World-Herald’s All-Nebraska Team after helping the Wildcats capture the Class A state title in 2019 • In 2018, he earned a spot on the all-state first team • An honor roll student he also earned two letters playing basketball for the Wildcats.
