Singleton wore the No. 8 as one one of 10 Huskers to earn a single-digit number in a team vote selecting him as one of Nebraska's "toughest" players.

Singleton made his first start at Nebraska against Minnesota and tied for the team lead with a career-high seven tackles. Singleton also broke up one pass against the Gophers. At Colorado, Singleton had three solo tackles, including a two-yard tackle for loss for his first career TFL. He recorded two tackles against Northern Illinois. Singleton tied his career high with seven tackles against Louisiana Tech while setting a career high with 1.5 tackles for loss. He was injured on the opening series against Michigan and missed the rest of the season.

Singleton played on special teams in every game in his first season at Nebraska in 2022. He also saw action on defense in six contests. Singleton posted his first tackle as a Husker against Indiana. He recorded two tackles at No. 3 Michigan, one on defense and one on kickoff coverage.

Before Nebraska (St. Helena HS/Hutchinson [Kan.] CC)

He recorded 21 tackles on the season with 2.5 tackles for loss, a pair of interceptions and two pass breakups.

Singleton joined Hutchinson from St. Helena College and Career Academy in Louisiana, where he played quarterback and safety.
