Before Nebraska (Olympia HS)
Jones came to Nebraska as one of the top players in Orlando. Jones was a star wideout for Olympia High School.
Jones had 53 catches for 847 yards and seven receiving touchdowns as a senior. He also averaged 30.3 yards per return on six kickoff returns. He ranked among the receiving leaders in the Orlando area and was named an all-metro selection for his performance. As a junior, Jones caught 43 passes for 718 yards and 10 touchdowns in only seven games. He also added two rushing touchdowns and had two kickoff return touchdowns.
A three-star recruit, Jones was ranked among the nation’s top 75 receivers by Rivals. He chose Nebraska after also considering Arkansas, Cincinnati and Kentucky, among others.

Victor was born on May 17, 2004, and he is the son of Victor Jones Sr. and Tabetha Jones.
