Start time of Big Red Invite delayed

Lincoln - The start time of day one of the Big Red Invitational has been delayed due to inclement weather, coaches announced Thursday night.

Coaches from each team participating in the event unanimously agreed to push back the start time for the competition in light of the winter storm that hit Lincoln Thursday. The competition will now begin with the first ball thrown at 11:00 a.m. tomorrow, Feb. 20.

Competition the following two days will proceed as scheduled.
