The Big Ten Conference announced Tuesday that junior Chase Mondi has been named Specialist of the Week.
Mondi earned the honor after a dominant performance in a dual meet against Penn State. He helped lead Nebraska to a 318.600-317.150 victory, capturing event titles on floor with a 14.25 and on vault with a 14.05.
Mondi was a floor All-American during the 2024-25 season after earning a silver medal on the event at the NCAA Championships. He competed for the Huskers on both floor and vault at the 2024 and 2025 NCAA Championships. His career high on floor is 14.40, and his career high on vault is 14.65.
