Nebraska Athletics announced the recipients of its three endowed scholarships for women’s basketball during a first-half presentation at the No. 25 Huskers' home game with Indiana on Thursday, Jan. 8.
Graduate guard Allison Weidner was awarded Stephanie Bolli #34 Women’s Basketball Scholarship for the third consecutive season.
Bolli, who was a four-time women’s basketball letterwinner (1985-88) as a 5-10 forward from Burwell, Neb, served as a senior captain on Nebraska’s 1988 Big Eight championship team that advanced to the school’s first NCAA Tournament. Bolli was also a two-time Academic All-American, including Nebraska’s first College Sports Communicators First-Team Academic All-American for women’s basketball in 1988. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Nebraska in 1989.
Preference for the awarding of the Stephanie Bolli #34 Women’s Basketball Scholarship is given to a graduate of a Nebraska high school outside the Lincoln and Omaha metro areas who displays a Nebraska work ethic, prioritizes team goals over personal goals, and meets or exceeds current Academic All-Big Ten standards/demonstrates a high level of academic achievement.
Weidner, a 5-10 guard out of Humphrey St. Francis High School, is redshirting in her fifth season with the Huskers. She earned her bachelor's degree as a child, youth and family studies major in December 2024. She is a three-time Academic All-Big Ten selection and was a 2025 Big Ten Distinguished Scholar.
Senior Callin Hake was also a repeat winner of the Latimer Family Women’s Basketball Scholarship. The 5-8 guard from Victoria, Minn., has started every game for the Big Red this season after starting 30 games a year ago. She has helped the Huskers to back-to-back trips to the NCAA Tournament while serving as one of the top leaders on the UNL campus. A two-time President of the Nebraska Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, Hake is also the chair of the Big Ten Student-Athlete Issues Commission in 2025-26. Hake, who also was awarded the Latimer Family Women's Basketball Scholarship in 2024-25, was a CSC Academic All-District selection in 2024 and 2025 and a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar in 2025 as a double-major in management and marketing at Nebraska.
The Latimer Family Women’s Basketball Scholarship, which is supported by generous donations from Gary and Janet Latimer, is presented to a Husker who demonstrates a high level of academic and athletic achievement, effective leadership skills, integrity and a commitment to excellence in all endeavors. Isabelle Bourne won the award in 2021-22 and 2022-23, before Maddie Krull earned the honor in 2023-24.
Logan Nissley rounded out the trio of Husker endowed scholarship recipients by claiming the Stone Family Women’s Basketball Scholarship. The scholarship, which is supported by Joe and Chris Stone, requires high character and values, along with grit and an outstanding work ethic.
Nissley, a 6-0 junior guard from Bismarck, N.D., has overcome injuries the past three seasons to be a valuable contribution both as a starter and off the bench. One of the top three-point shooters in Husker history, Nissley has helped the Big Red to back-to-back NCAA Tournaments while also being named a CSC Academic All-District selection in 2025. She was also a 2025 Big Ten Distinguished Scholar as a child, youth and family studies major.
The inaugural Stone Family Scholarship was awarded to Darian White in 2023-24, before Kendall Coley earned the honor in 2024-25.
