Nebraska men's golfer Rudy Sautron claimed a spot in the Korn Ferry Tour's Pinnacle Bank Championship by winning the Championship Flight of the Indian Creek Invitational on Sunday in Elkhorn.
Sautron, a junior-to-be at Nebraska in 2025-26, scorched the course at Indian Creek with a final-round 65 (-7) on Sunday to finish with a 36-hole score of 137 (-7). He defeated Andy Sajevic by one stroke, after trailing Sajevic by four strokes after Saturday's opening round. Sautron's spectacular final round included eight birdies, nine pars and just one bogey, as he fired a 32 (-4) on the front nine before closing it out with a 33 (-3) on the back.
Sautron's win not only came with a $1,000 purse, it earned him a position in the Pinnacle Bank Championship, which also will be held at The Club at Indian Creek (Aug. 7-10).
