Nebraska men’s track and field wrapped up the 2024-25 season at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Ore., with seven all-america honors.
Senior Maxwell Otterdahl became a seven time all-american as he placed 16th in the shot put, throwing 57.07m (187-3). Otterdahl ended his collegiate career as a two-time first team all-american and three-time second team all-american.
In high jump, the Huskers saw two athletes earn all-america honors as Tyus Wilson finished his Husker career as a five time all-american, clearing 2.20m (7-2 ½) for sixth. Freshman Desire Tonye-Nyemeck claimed his first career all-america award, finishing 11th and clearing 2.15m (7-0 ½).
The Husker men finished 35th with 8.5 team points.
The Huskers women will conclude the NCAA Championships tomorrow with Jenna Rogers competing in the high jump at 7:30 p.m. (CT) on Saturday. Each event has a livestream on ESPN+ and the meet will be televised on ESPN2 beginning at 8 p.m. (CT).
