Huskers Open Spring Season in California

Riverside, Calif. - The Nebraska women’s tennis team hits the road to begin the 2024 spring season against UC-Riverside on Tuesday, Jan. 16 at 3 p.m. (CT). Match updates will be available @HuskerWTennis on X and other media platforms.

“I’m really excited to see the team compete, fight for each other and represent Nebraska well. We have been working very hard in the fall and in the preseason, and I know the team is eager to start competing,” Head Coach German Dalmagro said. “It’s been fun to see them trust the process throughout the fall and the start of this spring. The team is committed to be a gritty, tough team, and I can’t wait to see them in action in a couple of days. I don’t know much about UC Riverside, but I do expect them to be a tough team and to challenge us. The first match of the year and being an away match and outside, it adds another element to the match, but I know our team will be up for the challenge and they are excited to start the season.”
