Former Nebraska women's basketball player Darian White was inducted recently into her high school hall of fame.

White, who helped the 2023-24 Huskers to the Big Ten Championship Game and a trip to the second round of the 2024 NCAA Tournament, was the 2019 Idaho Gatorade Player of the Year at Mountain View High School in Meridian.

The Idaho Press Player of the Year, White averaged 15.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 3.4 steals on her way to 5A All-Idaho Player-of-the-Year honors. She was also named the 5A Southern Idaho Conference Player of the Year.

White led Mountain View to a 25-1 record and a state runner-up finish as a senior in 2018-19. As a junior, White was second-team 5A All-Idaho after averaging 12.1 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 3.5 steals.

White spent her first four college seasons at Montana State, where she was a three-time first-team All-Big Sky guard for the Bobcats. A two-time Big Sky Defensive Player of the Year (2021, 2022), White was also the Big Sky Tournament MVP in 2022. She was the Big Sky Freshman of the Year in 2020, before closing her career as the No. 2 scorer in Montana State history with 1,716 points.

Despite battling injuries, White played in 34 games with 23 starts for Nebraska in 2023-24. She averaged 6.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists.
