Fan Guide to Fall Softball

The Nebraska softball team will play a total of six exhibition games at Bowlin Stadium this fall. Admission is free for all scrimmages and games and below is a guide to help fans plan for their visit to Bowlin Stadium. Fans are reminded that Nebraska’s clear bag policy will be in effect for all scrimmages and games, and pets are not allowed at Bowlin Stadium.

Fall Exhibition Games (October)
Schedule: Nebraska will play six exhibition games at Bowlin Stadium this fall, and there will also be three additional games not involving the Huskers.

The remaining schedule is below. Fans are reminded that previous games may run late which could delay the scheduled start time for games later in the day.

Sunday, Oct. 8
Nebraska vs. Creighton, 2 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 14
Nebraska vs. Colorado State, 10 a.m.
Nebraska vs. South Dakota, 12:30 p.m.
South Dakota vs. Colorado State, 3 p.m.

Sunday, Oct. 15
Nebraska vs. Colorado State, 10 a.m.
Nebraska vs. Colorado State, 12:30 p.m.

Free Admission: There will be no charge for fans to attend any of the fall exhibition games, including non-Nebraska games. Since all games are free, fans may select any available seats to watch the scrimmages. Seating options include plastic chairback seats, metal bleacher seating and grass berm seating. All seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. There will be no reserved seats for the scrimmages with the exception of marked reserved seats near each dugout for players’ families and guests. There will also be additional reserved seats near the third-base dugout for Nebraska softball alumni on Oct. 14 and 15.

Gates to Bowlin Stadium will open 60 minutes prior to the first game of the day. The time gates will open on each date is listed below.

Sunday, Oct. 8
Gates open at 1 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 14
Gates open at 9 a.m.

Sunday, Oct. 15
Gates open at 9 a.m.

Concessions: Concessions will be sold for the exhibition games. The concessions stand at Bowlin Stadium is located behind home plate, near the main entrance. Since concessions are available, fans are not allowed to bring any food or drink into the stadium.

Autographs: Nebraska’s players and coaches will hold two autograph sessions during the fall. The autograph sessions will take place on the main concourse down the right field line, near the team clubhouse. The first autograph session was on Sunday, Oct. 1.
