Husker Soccer Welcomes Goalkeeper for 2024

The Nebraska women’s soccer team welcomed goalie Maddy Osborn to the team on Nov. 8. 

Maddy Osborn Elkhorn, Wis. (Elkhorn Area High School) SC Wave/FC Milwaukee Torrent Goalkeeper

Maddy Osborn played for Coach Chandler Kayser at Elkhorn Area High School. She excels on and off the field, as she was second-team all-conference her sophomore year, a member of National Honors Society and high honor roll for four years, and was also Vice President of Leadership Development. On the club side, Osborn plays for Coach Giuliano Oliviero at SC Wave and Coach Andreas Davi at FC Milwaukee Torrent. In the goal, she helped lead the Torrent to a conference championship in 2023 and was also named to the Top Divisions in Camp Shutout (2023) and Clark Keeper Training Winter Road Show (2022). She plans to major in engineering at Nebraska.

Osborn on Nebraska: “Nebraska is a place like no other both on and off the field. Every athlete and student I talked to spoke so highly of the school and the community. I love how passionate the coaches are and how they take their time to properly develop the players. I feel at home in Nebraska and look forward to my years as a Husker.”
