Nebraska's schedule is filled NCAA Tournament-caliber competition throughout the year, with the Huskers playing host to eight 2023 NCAA qualifiers during the regular season, beginning with their annual clash with Creighton (Sunday, Nov. 19, 1 p.m.).
The Huskers also play quality opponents Florida Atlantic (Nov. 29), Georgia Tech (Dec. 2) and UNC Wilmington (Dec. 5), after colliding with Alcorn State (Nov. 14) early in the season.
Nebraska will play six consecutive home games against 2023 NCAA Tournament qualifiers from Dec. 17 (Southern) through Jan. 31 (Purdue), including battles with Maryland (Dec. 31), Indiana (Jan. 7), Illinois (Jan. 11) and Michigan (Jan. 17).
The Jan. 7 home game with the Hoosiers has been designated as Nebraska's Pack PBA game, as the Huskers shoot for a single-game home attendance record against the defending Big Ten regular-season champions from Indiana. Last year, a school-record 14,289 fans flocked to Pinnacle Bank Arena for the first Pack PBA on Feb. 18.
The Huskers also face Rutgers (Feb. 3), before tangling with NCAA runner-up Iowa (Feb. 11) on Pink Day in Lincoln to promote cancer awareness and support survivors as part of Play4Kay. Nebraska wraps up its home schedule against Northwestern (Feb. 20) and Minnesota (Feb. 24).
The Huskers open the regular season against Northwestern State on Monday, Nov. 6, at Noon. The game follows Nebraska's annual Life Skills Sportsmanship Pep Rally, which begins at 9:30 a.m., and will be part of a men's and women's basketball double-header day at Pinnacle Bank Arena. The Nebraska men will take on Lindenwood at 7 p.m.
