Twelve Huskers Named WCGA Scholastic All-Americans

Twelve members of the Nebraska women’s gymnastics team were tabbed WCGA Scholastic All-Americans on Tuesday, Aug. 15.

Clara Colombo, Martina Comin and Kinsey Davis were honored for the third time in their career, while Halle Rourke and Emma Spence claimed the award for the second time. Katelyn Barth, Emalee Frost, Allie Gard, Genesis Gibson, Lauren Homecillo and Annie Worley were first-time honorees. 

Lucy Stanhope, a transfer into the Husker program for the 2023-24 season from Utah, also earned the second WCGA Scholastic All-America honor of her career.

In order to be named a WCGA Scholastic All-American, athletes must maintain a GPA of 3.5 or above.

As a team in 2022-23, the Huskers posted a 3.46 GPA, including perfect 4.0 grade-point averages from Comin and Davis.
