Ten Nebraska track and field student-athletes were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team on May 31.
For the Husker women, Maddie Harris, Axelina Johansson, Jenna Rogers, Ieva Turke and Madison Yerigan all earned Academic All-District accolades. For the NU men, Matthias Algarin, Kolby Heinerikson, Micaylon Moore, Till Steinforth and Tyus Wilson all earned recognition.
The 2022-23 Academic All-District Men's and Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes track & field/cross country honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced June 28 (women) and June 29 (men).
