The Nebraska Athletic Communications office was honored by the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) on Thursday, as the Husker staff was nationally recognized with an FWAA Super 11 Award.
The Super 11 Award is annually presented to the 11 best football communications departments in the Football Bowl Subdivision. The winners are chosen based on FWAA criteria and a vote of local and national college football writers.
Nebraska received a Super 11 Award for the ninth time overall and for the fourth time in the past five seasons. The Huskers' total of nine Super 11 Awards rank third nationally since the award's inception in 2009.
The other 10 winners for 2022 included: BYU, Clemson, Colorado, Kansas State, Navy, Pittsburgh, South Carolina, TCU, UAB and West Virginia.
