Kenosha, Wis. - The Nebraska bowling team will finalize its fall portion of the season as the team heads to the SFA Ladyjack Classic in Kenosha, hosted by No. 4 Stephen F. Austin.
A total of 16 teams will be competing this weekend, including nine of the top 25 teams ranked by the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA). The list of teams joining the Huskers this weekend includes No. 1 McKendree, No. 2 Vanderbilt, No. 4 SFA, No. 6 Arkansas State, No. 9 Youngstown State, No. 15 Maryville, No. 20 Lewis, No. 25 Newman, Adelphi, Carthage College, Elmhurst College, Marian, North Central College, UW-Whitewater and Valparaiso
Nebraska will kick off the tournament on Friday at 10:35 a.m. (CT) with five sets of five-game Baker matches, followed by five traditional matches on Saturday morning beginning at 9:25 a.m. (CT). Combined results from Friday and Saturday will determine the seeding for Sunday's bracket-play championship tournament, where each team will compete in the best-of-seven Baker matches beginning at 8:30 a.m. (CT).
Up next, the Huskers will return and compete in five regular season tournaments in the spring beginning January 8-10.
