Caleb Tannor Quotes - 11-22-22

Caleb Tannor
Edge
Pre-Iowa
Press Conference

On Mickey Joseph's performance
"I feel like he has done a good job. For him to be able to short notice without him knowing be able to step in that role. I feel like that is a hard role to step into when your back is against the wall and you do not know. He has done a great job. He has always had the right things to say to us in team meetings and stuff like that. I feel like he has done a great job."

On tying a record for the most games played by a Husker
"I try to to be a loyal dude. I am a loyal dude. I love this place so it is like a no-brainer. I just play every game. I try not to miss games. I did not even know it was a record before that. Until this point I did not even know I played 56 games. It does not feel like I have played 56 games."

On why Tannor loves Nebraska
"The love that I got from the fans. The love that this state brings. You see college games these days and you see half-full stadiums and stuff like that after losses. The fans stay the course and I cannot help but respect the love. Nebraska has done nothing but good to me."

On what Tannor wants fans to remember him by
"I was going to say I hope they know I am a good teammate but they cannot really tell that because they are not my teammates so they cannot tell that so I feel like that is a locker room thing but I just feel like fans I hope they see how hard I played and worked. Really whatever they want to feel is cool with me. I have love for them that is all I know. Whether they love us back or not I am with it."

On the Iowa rivalry
"This is a good chance for us to leave this place on a good note. Like you said I have not beat Iowa since I have been here. It will be a great opportunity to do that and get these young cats coming up something to remember what it is supposed to be like. Hopefully we can go out there and execute at a high level and keep that ball rolling."
