Alante Brown
Nebraska Wide Receiver
Pre-Minnesota
Press Conference
On his experience with Chubba Purdy and Logan Smothers
"We have experience with them. Seven on seven, we have two quarterbacks. Different types of routes. We are always getting different routes thrown to us from spring ball to now. So, we have been getting used to them throwing to us, it is not just Casey (Thompson) throwing to us. We have experience with them."
On Chubba Purdy's strengths
"His confidence when he is throwing the ball. He has to be poise. Everybody has to be poise in order. for this offense to work. Just working all together as leaders, making sure we stay on top of each other, handle our responsibilities, and we will be fine."
On Casey Thompson's impact
"He is a great leader. We all can see how focused and poised he is when he is on and off the field. When he comes to the sideline he talks to us. He always calls the receivers together. There is a lot of communication between Casey (Thompson) and a lot of players. That is one of the big factors I have seen from him since he has been here so far."
On Minnesota's defense
"They have two pretty decent safeties. One I am pretty familiar with, Tyler Nubin. He is from Chicago, so kind of familiar with him, and also playing against him the last two years. Good tacklers. Decent corners. It is a good match up for us and a good opportunity for us to show once again the receiver group to have a good matchup with a good defensive group."
