On the key to second half success
“I think we have done a good job making adjustments throughout the game and at halftime especially and then when we come off the field we are taking it series by series and moving on right after the last series so I think that has been huge.”
On the ‘never out of the fight’ on his tape
“It is just something that I started writing on my arm. We just as a house the people I live with started writing that saying that mantra so I just wrote it on my arm Indiana and then just kind of started saying it on the sideline to just speak it into existence and it has kind of picked up. A lot of other guys on the team like it so we are going to keep rolling with it.”
On talking to the offensive line after the game
“I think that is really huge offense and defense communicating as well as special teams because we are a team and I think when the defense is coming off and I have guys like (Chancellor) Brewington and Travis (Vokelek) motivating me and telling me they have my back and they come off and we do the same for them I think it just breeds confidence into people and it is definitely a big thing.”
On changes noticed since Mickey Joseph took over
“I just say it is his energy he brings every day is huge. It is contagious. He is just super involved and that is why he has made this easily. It is a super tough transition any time a coach is let go during the season but (Joseph) has made it just as easy as possible with how he is as a person and as a man so that has been really nice.”
