On returning to Rutgers 
"It will be a fun trip back to New Jersey. It is something that I have been looking forward to for awhile. I know a couple of guys on the team. A lot of them are gone now that I was close with. Either graduated or transferred out. I have been in touch with those guys that we are going to see Friday and talking a little trash with them. But I am looking forward to getting out there and the challenge with the game this Friday."

On the first Big Ten win this season 
"Honestly the mentality has not changed. We want to go 1-0 every week. We enjoy the win for 24 hours and then move on to the next game, the next challenge. It has not changed much. You can ask all of the other guys we just want to go 1-0 every week. That is the goal and we are really excited for this challenge this Friday."

On the rest and recovery on a short week 
"It is super important. Coach Mickey (Joseph) has done a great job at emphasizing how important it is to get in the training room, to get treatment, to do any extra stuff. If you are not studying for school or for the game then get in the treatment room, get in the pools, do all the extra stuff you can. It is super important. Guys are sore but everyone else is sore that is playing right now. We just have to deal with it and get as much treatment as we can, and get ready for the game Friday."

On winning a close game
"It is huge. Now that we have finished a close game, guys can see that it can be done. It definitely gives us confidence. We understand that we have done it once, so now we have to do it for every game, when situations arise that we have to finish football games. So definitely a confidence builder." 

On Coach Joseph receiving the game ball
"It was awesome. I love Coach Mickey. The players love him. I love everything about him. It was awesome. We just have to get him a couple of more wins now."
