On Interim Head Coach Mickey Joseph
"Mickey has had kind of a different vibe going around. Switching up practice a little bit. I can see that as a reset for us. Every week we are thinking we are going 1-0. 0-0 going into the game. Just beat the team in front of us."

On the changes he has seen since joining the program
"I believe change is inevitable in programs. You do not want to see this much change in a program in such short time but sometimes it is for the better. Change can also be a good thing. I think Mickey (Joseph) taking over is a good thing for our program. I think he will lead us in the right direction. Change can be brutal sometimes. I have seen a lot of different position coaches. A lot of switch ups but if you find the right guy things will work out for you."

On competition at practice the past week
"We switched up a lot of things that week. We were really sticking to the basics. Trying to get back to what we know best and really repping the same things over and over to get those things right. But it was definitely Nebraska vs. Nebraska. We were not focused on any teams, anybody down the road. We were really focused on us this week and I think got a lot better because of it."
