Huskers Begin Fall Slate at Omaha

Nebraska baseball opens its fall schedule with a road exhibition at Omaha on Saturday. The Huskers and Mavericks are set to play 14 innings, with first pitch set for 2 p.m. at Tal Anderson Field.

Admission is free to the public, while a link to live stats is available on Huskers.com.

Nebraska returns 21 players from 2022, including All-Big Ten honorees Emmett Olson and Garrett Anglim. Olson was named All-Big Ten Second Team, while Anglim was chosen to the All-Big Ten Freshman Team.

The Huskers have 25 newcomers on the roster, highlighted by a 24th-ranked transfer class according to Baseball America.
