On the importance of finding a rhythm
“Just staying with my teammates and keeping everyone together and really just doing my part and doing my job and doing anything to help my team. Do whatever I need to do to help my team.”

“I am not really surprised. I stayed down and all the work I put in I knew I could do it so I just really followed God about it and kept faith and trusted my work ethic and what I have always done.”

On playing in Memorial Stadium
“It felt great honestly. All of the fans were really excited and it was a really great thing playing in Memorial Stadium.”

On reflecting on his journey
“Honestly I think about it all the time and the journey that I had just looking back on everything  and it really feels great just to have gone through everything and be back at the D-1 level and playing like I am.”
