Andrews Named CoSIDA Academic All-District

Billie Andrews was named to the 2021-22 Academic All-District softball team, selected by CoSIDA, Thursday afternoon. 

Nebraska infielder Billie Andrews was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 7 softball team on Thursday afternoon. As a first-team all-district honoree, Andrews will now advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America ballot. 

One of three sophomores on the District 7 list, Andrews leads the team in runs, home runs and RBIs. Andrews has posted 14 multi-RBI games and 15-multi hit games. 

The Gretna, Neb., native is majoring in graphic design and holds a 3.90 grade-point average. Andrews is a three-time member of the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll and has earned the Nebraska Gold Academic Medallion. 

District 7 honors Division I players from Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Nebraska, New Mexico, Nevada, Oklahoma and Texas. The full list of honorees can be found here.
