Nebraska's Shannon Stott and Maia Hall will compete in the 2022 British Swimming Championships in Sheffield, April 5-10.
Stott, a senior from St. Albans, Great Britain, kicks off her week with the 200-meter freestyle on Tuesday. Hall, a freshman from Whitby, England, will swim the 50-meter breaststroke on her opening day of competition. Hall finished 13th in the 100-yard breast in her first appearance at the Big Ten Championships in 2022. Her preliminary time of 1:00.98 was the fourth-fastest mark in school history in the event. She also took 12th in the 200 breast at the conference meet.
The six-day event is taking place at Ponds Forge International Sports Centre and will play a major role in qualifying for June's World Championships in Budapest.
