Lincoln, Neb - The Nebraska bowling team climbed to second place in the National Ten Pin Coaches Association (NTCA) released Thursday. NU received 16 first-place votes and totaled 1,519 points.
The Huskers added two tournament titles to their season since the last poll, winning the Mid-Winter Invitational and the Big Red Invitational.
McKendree remains at the top of the poll with 1,537 points and 24 first-place votes. Sam Houston is in third with two first place votes and 1,343 points. Vanderbilt and North Carolina A&T round out the top five.
The Huskers return to the lanes next March 18-20, at the Music City Classic in Smyrna, Ten.
