Husker Women Ranked No. 22 in USTFCCCA Poll

The Nebraska track and field team appeared at No. 22 in the women's rankings of the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Association's (USTFCCCA) NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field Rating Index on Monday.

Three Huskers are in a combined four events contributing to Nebraska's score of 27.62 in the TFRI.

Axelina Johansson ranks third in the shot put (59-9 3/4, 18.23m), while Jenna Rogers is currently eighth in the country with a clearance of 6-0 (1.83m). Taylor Latimer sits 29th nationally in the shot put (53-8 1/4, 16.36m) and weight throw (68-0 1/2, 20.74m).

The Nebraska track and field team will split between meets in Arkansas and Kansas this weekend. A portion of the team will be competing at the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark., while part of the team will head to the Gorilla Classic in Pittsburg, Kan.
