Huskers Compete in Two Events this Weekend

The Nebraska track and field team is set to compete in two meets this weekend, with the Prairie Wolf Invitational hosted by Nebraska Wesleyan on Friday and the Mark Colligan Memorial on Saturday. Both meets will take place at the Devaney Center Indoor Track.
 
The Prairie Wolf Invitational has a 12 p.m. start on Friday, beginning with the women's 5,000m and weight throw.
 
The competition at the Mark Colligan Memorial includes Nebraska, Utah State, Kennesaw State, Southern Illinois-Edwardsville, Northern Colorado and Wyoming. Saturday's action begins at 11:30 a.m. with the women's weight throw and long jump. Running events get started at 12:15 p.m. with the women's 60m hurdles.
 
Nebraska is coming off last weekend's season-opening meet, where the Huskers totaled 15 event titles and 58 top-five finishes at the two-day Graduate Classic.
