The Nebraska Men's Gymnastics team was ranked No. 2 in the Big Ten preseason coaches poll released on Tuesday.
Michigan is set to open the 2022 season as Big Ten's No. 1 preseason ranked team. In the prior 2021 season, Michigan finished in first place with 7-0 overall in the Big Ten regular season standings.
Behind No. 2 ranked Nebraska follows Penn State, Illinois, and Ohio State to round out the top five.
The Huskers are set to open the 2022 season at the Rocky Mountain Open meet on Saturday, Jan 15 at 7:00 p.m. CT in Colorado Springs, Colo., where they will compete against Air Force, Oklahoma, Stanford, Arizona State, Rocky Mountain Gymnastics, as well as GymAct teams.
Nebraska's Taylor Christopulos and Sam Phillips each earned a spot on the Big Ten Players to Watch List.
