Huskers Hit Road for SFA Classic

Friday-Sunday, November 12-14, 10:35  a.m., 9:25  a.m., 8:30 a.m. (CT) Kenosha, Wis.  (Sheridan Lanes)

Nebraska will travel this weekend for the SFA Ladyjacks Hammer Classic at Sheridan Lanes. The Huskers are looking to win their third consecutive title of the season, after taking home the Bearcat Hammer Open and Track Kat Klash title.

A total of 16 teams will be competing in Kenosha this weekend, including 10 of the top 25 teams ranked by The National Tenpin Coaches Association. The teams joining the Huskers include McKendree, Arkansas State, Vanderbilt, Youngstown State, Stephen F. Austin, Duquesne, Maryville, Wisconsin-Whitewater, Marian, Aurora, Carthage, Lewis, North Central, Upper Iowa, and Valparaiso.

Competition is set to begin Friday morning at 10:35 a.m. with five sets of five-game Baker matches, followed by five traditional matches on Saturday morning, beginning at 9:35 a.m. Combined results from Friday and Saturday will determine the seeding for Sunday's bracket-play championship tournament, where each team will play three rounds of best-of-seven Baker matches beginning at 8:30 a.m.
