“Some things were not clicking in the run game, and they put it on me to execute the pass game, and I feel like we did that well. Of course, we had two turnovers which you can blame me. I felt like other than that we played really well. Definitely, we have to start executing and start finishing drives. For the most part as an offense, I felt like we played well.”
 
On forcing throws
“If my job is to run the ball I would be running back or something, but I throw a ball for a living. Sometimes of course, it might look obvious when you throw the ball and everyone runs the ball. ‘Oh you should have ran it,’ but I feel like I do my job when my number is called. Those two plays, I just forced them. Their defense was amazing. They had a great team in general. They played everybody tough. They played what five top-10 teams. They have to give kudos to them. Playing in the Big Ten is not easy. We play a lot of great teams, so you have to give them their credit and I feel like they when your running game is like this you need them because in the long run you are not going to be able to blow everybody out. I definitely think this win was a positive thing more than a negative. Of course I wanted to play well. We wanted to play well. Of course the offense wanted to finish drives, but sometimes it does not go our way so we have to keep fighting and persevere.”
