Huskers First Day at Bearcat Hammer Open

Fairview, Ill. - The Nebraska Bowling team went 3-2 on Friday at the Bearcat Hammer Open. With a pinfall of 4,745, the Huskers finished the day in second place. 

The Huskers won against Alabama A&M (942-731), Maryville (932-883), and North Central(1,059-772) with losses to Central Missouri (812-866) and Tusculum (1,000-1,017). 

The Huskers will resume play tomorrow at 9:00 AM (CT) against McKendree in traditional format. 

Results from Friday and Saturday will determine the seeding for Sunday's bracket. During this championship tournament, each team will play best-of-seven Baker matches.
