Nebraska women's golfers Andrea Velez, Michaela Vavrova and Lena Hassert will compete as individuals at the 2021 Stampede at the Creek hosted by Omaha at Indian Creek Golf Club in Elkhorn, Oct. 4-5.
The trio of young Huskers will compete against golfers from Creighton, Drake, Illinois-Chicago, North Dakota State, Northern Iowa, St. Thomas, Weber State, Western Illinois and the hosts from Omaha, on the par-72, 5,998-yard layout at Indian Creek (Red Feather/Blackbird nines). The two-day, 54-hole tournament will begin Monday with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. (CT) with continuous play for the first and second rounds. Tuesday's final round will also begin with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m..
The event also includes a men's field with full teams from Chicago State, Northern Iowa, St. Thomas and Western Illinois along with individuals from Creighton, North Dakota and Omaha.
