11 Nebraska men's gymnasts were named All-America Scholar-Athletes announced the College Gymnastics Association.
Jake Bonnay, Taylor Christopulos, Evan Hymanson, Moritz Mueller, Zach Peters, Mitch Tyndall and Dylan Young earned first-team All-America Scholar-Athlete honors. CGA honored 133 individual gymnasts as 2021 first-team All-America Scholar-Athletes in men's gymnastics for attaining a 3.50 grade point average or higher.
Khalil Jackson, Evan Kriley, Dylan LeClair and Sam Phillips were named second-team All-America Scholar-Athletes. CGA named 56 second-team All-America Scholar-Athletes for attaining a grade point average between 3.2 and 3.499.
Evan Hymanson was one of 11 gymnasts honored with first-team All-America Scholar-Athlete honors for all four years of eligibility. Hymanson was also named the Nebraska Male-Student Athlete of the Year and earned the Big Ten and NCAA Postgraduate Scholarships.
Stanford received the team award with the highest grade point average among men's gymnastics programs with a 3.846. Nebraska finished in the top ten with a team grade point average of 3.221.
