Two of the biggest names in wrestling are set to meet in Lincoln Wednesday night as Jordan Burroughs takes on David Taylor in the main event of the FloWrestling: Burroughs vs. Taylor card. The full card features six matches starting at 7 p.m. (CT).
Burroughs meets top-ranked Taylor for the first time in over six years. The two have previously faced off at 74 kg the 2013 and 2014 U.S. Open and the 2014 World Team Trials. This time, they meet at 86 kg.
An Olympic gold medalist, Burroughs is a four-time World Champion and two-time NCAA champion at Nebraska. Taylor, who is ranked No. 1 at 86 kg, is a 2018 World Champion and two-time NCAA Champion at Penn State.
Burroughs returns to the mat after taking down Zahid Valencia in November. He defeated Valencia, 8-5, in a match that saw him score three takedowns and two step-out points in the second period to come away with the victory.
All the action can be streamed live at FloWrestling.
