Lincoln, Neb. - The Nebraska bowling team will host their only home meet of the season this Friday through Sunday at Hollywood Bowl.
Seven other teams will join the Huskers including Arkansas State, Augustana, Central Missouri, Prairie View A&M, Texas Southern, Valparaiso, and Youngstown State.
On the first day, Nebraska will start off against Valparaiso. They will move on to face Texas Southern before going against No. 8 Youngstown State. NU will have their fourth match against No. 12 Central Missouri before finishing the day with a match versus Prairie View A&M.
Traditional style play will begin as Nebraska faces off against No. 5 Arkansas State. Afterwards, the Huskers will bowl against Augustana. Their third match will be versus Valparaiso with the fourth being against Texas Southern. They will finish the day with a match against No. 8 Youngstown State.
Friday will begin with at 1:05 p.m. with five baker matches. Saturday will start at 9:25 a.m. and will consist of traditional style bowling. On Sunday, bowling will start at 8:55 a.m. and will conclude the tournament with three best-of-seven baker matches.
Admission to the event is free. On Friday, the first 100 fans will receive a free slice of pizza, a soft drink and a bowling pin water bottle. There will also be a raffle for a "Huskers" bowling ball.
