Jonesboro, Ark. - The Huskers finished sixth at the Mid-Winter Classic on Sunday.
Nebraska started the day by taking on Louisiana Tech. NU won the matchup 4-3 (166-266, 223-266, 259-215, 176-235, 202-197, 231-191, 259-166). Looking to build off of their victory, the bowling team continued on to face Stephen F. Austin. NU fought another seven game matchup, this time falling 4-3 (225-246, 258-203, 203-224, 234-259, 225-200, 199-169, 158-206). The Huskers went on to the fifth place match, but fell to Sam Houston State 4-3 (212-226, 244-214, 181-151, 227-154,196-228, 237-278, 217-223).
The Huskers will return to the lanes at the Big Red Invitational in Lincoln, Neb. Feb. 28 - Mar. 1.
