Huskers Prepare for Stormin' Blue & White Vegas Classic

Lincoln, Neb. - The Husker bowling team will begin 2020 by traveling to Las Vegas for the Stormin' Blue & White Vegas Classic January 10-12. 

Teams competing will include No. 1 McKendree, No. 3 Nebraska, No. 5 Vanderbilt, No. 8 Stephen F. Austin, No. 13 Mount St. Mary's, No. 14 Delaware State, No. 15 Maryville, No. 16 Tulane, No. 23 Monmouth, No. 25 Prairie View A&M, Grambling State, St. Francis (Pa.), Texas Southern, and Valparaiso.

Nebraska will kick off Friday with matches against Texas Southern, Valparaiso, Mount St. Mary's, Monmouth, and Tulane. Saturday's matches will be versus St. Francis (Pa.), McKendree, Stephen F. Austin, Prairie View A&M, and Maryville.

The Huskers have started off the season by winning the first three tournaments of the year and look to continue their success in 2020. 

On Friday, each team will play five Baker matches beginning at 10:55 a.m. On Saturday, each team will participate in five traditional team matches starting at 9:55 a.m. Individual standings will be determined on individual success during traditional matches. To conclude the meet on Sunday at 8:00 a.m., each team will be seeded and play in three best of seven Baker matches.
