Houston, Texas - The Nebraska bowling team went 5-0 on Friday at the Track Kat Klash. The Huskers stand in first place after day one with a total pinfall of 4,947.
Nebraska began the day by defeating Youngstown State (1,001-929). The Huskers continued by going on to win four more by winning against Prairie View A&M (986-947), Stephen F Austin (938-881), Alabama State (1,106-821), and finished the day bowling with Tulane (916-868).
Nebraska will open day two tomorrow by facing Louisiana Tech.
Combined results from Friday, Saturday and a traditional match on Sunday morning will determine the seeding for Sunday's bracket-play championship tournament, where each team will play rounds of best-of-seven Baker matches beginning at 8:20 a.m.
